Community Kids Connection Tutoring

Tutor and Mentor Students Ages 5-18

Community Kids Connection (CKC) Tutoring is a program that was designed to meet the need of our local San Bernardino community. Kids come to receive help with their daily schoolwork and to strengthen their math and reading skills. Volunteers will often work on-on-one with kids and not only help with homework, but become mentors.

CKC Tutoring meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Indian Springs High School, P-Wing, and Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Loma Linda Spanish Church. There is an academic year commitment preference for CKC Tutoring, attendance of one regular day per week is preferred.

Volunteers are needed to tutor kids with their homework and assist them in growing other academic skills. Tutors will sign-in and partner one-on-one with a child for the evening. Consistency is key in developing a relationship with the student, mentoring them beyond just their daily homework assignments. Sign up to volunteer for CKC Tutoring.
