La Escuelita Family Resource Center
La Escuelita Family Resource Center has been serving families of the Inland Empire for over 10 years. All of its services and workshops are free and available to all adults, young and older, in the greater San Bernardino community. Our main site is at Indian Springs High School (San Bernardino).
Summer Gateway Program (In-depth learning about the health professions)
The Summer Gateway Program is for high school junior and senior minority students. It provides them with a two-week experience in the health professions, with college preparation skills and service opportunities. There are opportunities to shadow a third week, by invitation.
My Campus (Introduction to the health professions)
My Campus is our quarterly event that highlights the various schools at Loma Linda University to minority high school students interested in the health professions. Students connect with university student mentors (Speed Mentoring), enjoy hands-on experiences and listen to presentations.
Goal 4 Health (G4H)
Goal 4 Health Soccer League is a league for community kids (ages 3-12) and mothers and daughters (ages 13 and up). The purpose of G4H is to provide a safe place where families can build community and practice healthy living. The season takes place every Spring quarter (end of March-June).
