In-Depth Learning About the Health Professions
The Discovery program is a 2-week program for underrepresented minority high school students in the Inland Empire interested in the health careers. This event takes place on the Loma Linda University campus which gives high school students the opportunity to participate in an interactive learning environment, highlighting patient care and careers in Allied Health, Behavioral Health, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Public Health. Daily team-building activities and a day of community service in the local community round out the two-week program.
