Food Delivery and Assistance Program
The food and delivery assistance program connects students with our local community by helping deliver food to those most vulnerable. Due to COVID-19, many families have been affected directly and may not have access to food and this program helps meet some of those needs. In partnership with the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino (CAPSB), our volunteers help deliver between 150-200 boxes each week.
Dates and Times
Food pick up happens every Wednesday between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM at the CAPSB Warehouse in San Bernardino. Volunteers may also pick up food boxes at the Institute for Community Partnerships (ICP) at Loma Linda University on Wednesdays between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM and Fridays betwen 12:00 and 1:00 PM. Deliveries can be made any time throughout the day when the food boxes are picked up and take aproximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Depending on the need each week, volunteers help deliver between 4-6 boxes and can deliver more if desired.
