Parent Education and Mentoring for Expectant Teens
Project Hope is a unique opportunity to work with expectant teen mothers (and sometimes fathers) in the San Bernardino area. Crafts, games and one-on-one mentoring help expectant parents build a positive and trusting relationship with volunteers. Parenting education is also provided to give these parents-to-be knowledge and skills to raise their children.
Project Hope meets Friday afternoons at various high schools in San Bernardino. Due to COVID-19, site locations may change or moved to a virtual setting.
Volunteers are needed to lead crafts, play games and mentor expectant parents. In addition, volunteers are needed to assist with parent education.
