A Minorities in the Health Professions Pipeline Program

The Gateway program was created by merging former summer programs College Exodus and Si Se Puede. It is a 2-week opportunity for underrepresented and underprivileged minority high school students in the Inland Empire. It provides them skills to prepare for college and allows them to explore the many fields within the health professions. A third week is offered, by invitation only, for shadowing at local health facilities.

Please contact our Gateway Program Coordinator, Oscar S. Bustillos at obustillos@llu.edu or by calling our office at 909-651-5011 for upcoming dates.

LLU student volunteers are needed to assist their schools with presentations and workshops. Other opportunities include facilitating community service activities and helping with Drayson Center health activities.
